Just yesterday I found out Pokémon World Championships is going on at Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC this weekend. It’s only 30 minutes drive from my house, so I decided to take the kids early this morning. Kyle mentioned last year that he wanted to attend Pokémon World Championships in Canada. That would have been a very expensive trip. Had I known PWC was coming to DC, I would have prepared him to participate in the tournament. Oh well.
I reserved a parking space using SpotHero. We walked about 10 minutes to the convention center. It’s been too long since I photographed my kids. So, it was nice taking photos of my kids today. And, since I haven’t bothered them to pose for me for ages, they were very willing in front of my camera.
I love finding buildings with nice looking color and texture walls as background.
Kyle loved watching people playing cards, but we didn’t stay long as Bailey didn’t want to watch the tournament. Maybe because it was too dark in the room…?
We got lucky and were able to take some photos with Chespin and Fennekin.
I still don’t understand the Pokémon card games, but kids liked our little outing this morning.
