Unity Anniversary – One Layer Challenge
Number of View: 349I’m happy to say that my Unity Stamp April Kit of the Month is getting its money’s worth. Here’s another card created for the challenge using the same kit. Thanks!
Gina K. cardstock works well for watercoloring.

Stamp using the Stamp-a-majig. Lighter color first for the shadow technique (Learned it from Stampin’ Up! video on the demonstrator only website.)

Mask the first stamped image. Stamp the next one.

All Stampin’ Up! dye ink except the light green (Memento -> love, love this brand!)

Watercolor using a blender and an aqua pen.

Trace the trees on the back of the card using a light table for dry embossing.

It didn’t work out… =(
Gina K. cardstock was way tooooooo think even with a wax paper on top.

Can you tell my trees have some volume? *sigh* Heehee.
Happy birthday sentiment was embossed with powder/heat tool.

Number of View: 346Unity Stamp Company is celebrating their 1 year anniversary all this week!
Happy Birthday, Unity!!!
I created this card for the first challenge of the week at Splitcoast Stampers.
Color challenge: Kraft, Baja Breeze, Ruby Red, So Saffron.
Stamps: Unity, of course!
I was trying to create a scene where you look through the window from the outside. Heehee

Cover the entire image/card with VersaMark, emboss with clear powder, heat set.
Do this about 5 times.
Stamp the image (I used StazOn) while the melted embossing powder (surface) is still warm.

Ribbon: Martha Stewart;
Birdie on the branches are stamped on the kraft cardstock and colored with colored pencils.

I created above card for the Card Patterns Sketch #12 using this sketch.

One randomly selected winner will receive a stamp set from Unity Stamp Company (love them!), so I wanted to use a stamp image from their April Kit of the Month.

My son, Kyle saw me cutting the lollie pop trees, and he wanted to do the same. I can’t believe I let him glue it to Papertrey Ink Kraft CS and Stampin’ Dimensionals!

CS: Papertrey Ink;
Ribbon: Martha Stewart;
Stamps: Unity; Stampin’ Up! (Congrats);
Other: Colored pencils, liquid glue
