It doesn’t look that many on the photo, but I made 36 of these for my son, Kyle’s birthday party last Saturday. I used Pazzles die cut machine to cut these. Since Kyle wanted to help and I didn’t have time to do it all by myself, I let him stamp the trains and draw train tracks till he got tired.

This was my initial mock-up. I had to put the train track when I saw the slits on the Wave Box Template.
Stamps: Close to my Heart.

Goodies that I put in the box.

Well, I was planning on creating the birthday favors that look like porta potties and put tissues (wet or dry) inside. Like this outhouse I made a while ago. So, when I saw Kelleigh’s new template, Wave Box, I reversed the flaps and created this. My husband thought it looked like a refrigerator, but it’s a Sani John, heehee. I photographed the real porta potty back in early September when i had this project in mind.

I didn’t get to make this for the party favors though. =(

Here, I used Purple Onion Designs’ Bare Tree stamp to create a Halloween themed box. And I believe the black fence is from Martha Stewart punch. My good friend, Anna punched some and gave to me. Thank you Anna!
Here I used Cabbage Patch digital kit by Dawn Inskip.
Perfect for putting seed packets.
ALL boxes were created using Kelleigh’s new template, Wave Box Template Set. It’s 20% off today and tomorrow!

Last week, I came up with this Halloween favor idea for my kids’ school. I was going to assemble it after Kyle’s birthday party (Oct 17), but I saw Halloween challenge over at Paper Crafts Connection today, so I decided to make one.

Kyle wants to be an astronaut for this Halloween. The helmet alone costed me $30. I couldn’t afford to buy him the space suit ($50), so he is going to wear just the helmet, heehee.
I originally thought about putting kids’ photos with those Egyptian crown/head piece (Cleopatra for girls). But now I’m not so sure if that’ll be offensive or not. I like to make fun of (heh?) my kids’ photos, but some people might not like that.
But, I think this is so cute, heehee.

King Kyle holding candies, heehee.
BTW, I am a Hybrid Chick Creative Team now, WOOHOO~!!!!!!!!!!

Tic Tac for mommy. Candies are pooping, I mean dispensing from the behind. Heehee. My immaturity comes in very handy when creating a kid theme project.
I used Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs pyramid template for this Halloween goodie box. Check out Kelleigh’s blog, you might be able to win her ENTIRE store (a $75+ value!) and MORE!
