I'm still working on it…

diapers!

This is what I’m working on right now. I’m so relieved that I’m done with the basic structure. I just need to decorate the outside. Can you guess what I’m trying to create with these diapers? =)

Do you remember these templates? It’s Almost Square Bag and Matchbook Album that I made last year at AfterFiveDesigns.com. I just re-released at my store, Little Potato House. If you have purchased these two template files at A5D, please email me (littlepotatohouse at gmail dot com), so I could send you the updated version.

Mini Play-Doh Covers

Number of View: 5183

Hiya~!

I love giving Play-Dohs for kids party favors and decided to decorate them for Easter.

I made three different ways to cover them.

.

First, with flower die cuts.

Use Stampin’ Up! Flower Folds Bigz Xl Die on Big Shot Die-Cut Machine to cut some cardstock papers. I used the second large flower from the die. It comes with score line, so very easy to assemble.

Add 3-d adhesive dots on the bottom of Play-Dohs, and attach the folded flowers.

Use buttons, ribbons, and other embellishment to decorate the outside.

I’ve used Ice Cream Parlor Quick Accents and Ribbon & Button Pack. You can get this product for FREE when you spend $50 during SAB 2011!

.

For these pleated style wrappers,

Cut pattern papers into 12″ x 1.25″. Score and accordion-style fold every .25″.

Designer Series papers: Ice Cream Parlor

Cut one folded panel off from one side and attach both ends to make it a ring.

Hot glue the Play-Doh side (close to the bottom). Slip the folded paper ring around the Play-Doh. Quickly press it to the glue.

.

For these, I used the same style as my Santa Sleighs.

Cut papers into 6.25″ x 1″. I used clear Scotch tape to close the ends. Decorated with Ice Cream Parlor Quick Accents.

I’ll be back to show you what else I did with these cuties. =)

.

Thanks!

Cards

These past two weeks, I’ve made a lot of cards. Making cards don’t come easy for me. Often times, I would spend many hours on a card only to throw it away because it just didn’t look good. Though I can’t say I LOVE all the cards I made, I’m happy that I got to practice a lot these days and hope to get better.

Stamp: Stampin’ Up! Aviary
Pattern paper, button:  Springtime Vintage

I made lots of cards because I now sell handmade cards at my parents’ cafe/salad bar. This way, I would make cards regularly rather than just hoard supplies.

Stamp: Stampin’ Up! Apple Blossoms (Level 2 Hostess Set)

I love these simple cards, but haven’t sold them yet. =(
