Congratulations, Jo!!!!!
When I told Michele (Owner of Purple Onion Designs) about my blog candy, she generously offered to cover it. Isn’t she nice or what!
So… I’d like to send few POD stamps to Corinne. She was the first person to leave the comment on the blog candy post.
Thank you everybody!

TEBB Challenge #9
Number of View: 533
This was the most difficult challenge among 13 TEBB challenges. I didn’t know what to make. I love the shabby/chic style, but I wasn’t sure how I could create the look. So, I decided to “tackle” this challege first, and had the bestest time while working on it.
Painted a 4×6 canvas with acrylic paints. I didn’t have any pink acrylic, so used red instead. But, it just didn’t give me the light pastel pink color. But, I still love how it turned out =)

Taylored Expressions Birthday Bash Challenge #9: Inspired by the photo (Soft, muted colors accented with brown for an aging effect, distressed & shabby.
Ooops, I didn’t use any brown on mine. But, the brush stroke and the music note background stamped image look distressed, heehee.

Stamps: Gorjuss from Sugar Nellie (Colored with Tombow markers on watercolor paper); Early 1900′s Music Background from Purple Onion Designs;
Candy Anyone?
Number of View: 506Created for Moxie Fab World, Stretch Your Holiday Style: A Clean & Graphic Challenge.
Stamp: “Swirly Tree“ and “Arctic Wonderland Sentiment” from Purple Onion Designs;
Die cut box: My Favorite Things;
Coloring: Memento markers;
Ornaments: Made holes with circle punches;
Candy cane: Wrapped white waxy floss around the red pipe cleaner;
Borders: White gel pen.
Originally, I was going to fill up the box just with candies, but I ate A LOT of’em while I was making the project, heehee. I wanted to buy candy canes instead, but it was almost $1 per one!
Speaking of candy… How about a blog candy for you?
Back in July, I won Purple Onion Designs gift certificate from Caardvark Challenge. Michele from POD was VERY generous, nice, sweet, and many more. And POD have the most talented design teams. AND I love the stamps, of course!
So… how about $25 Purple Onion Designs gift certificate for you?
Leave a comment here, and I’ll pick one winner next Friday. I’ll use Random.org.
Thank you~~~~~~~~
Travel Backpack Birthday Favor
Number of View: 3141I’ve been brainstorming for Kyle’s birthday party idea since June. I’ve already booked a party at a moonbounce place and it’s about 1.5 month away. Since the birthday party place is far for most of our guests, I thought travel theme would be a great idea. I’ve already started making the invitation (Thanks, Stephanie!), so I’ll post it as soon as I’m done. =)
For the birthday favor, I wanted to make a faux leather luggage and fill it with goodies. But then, I thought a backpack would be a better idea for 5 year olds birthday party. I wasn’t going to start making the favors till October, but I saw 3D challenge (Pack-It-Up: Knapsack) on Paper Craft Planet, and thought I should head start on the project. This is just a draft (mock-up?) Hehe.
Brown lunch bag.
Patterned paper: Luxe Designs;

Eyelets: WeR Memory Keepers;
Ribbon: American Crafts;

Stamp: Purple Onion Designs “Homegrown Alphabet“;
Tried to get the embroidered look with puff/gel pens, but it looks more like zebra print to me, hehe.
Plan to personalize with our guests’ names.

Uh-oh~! I hope they don’t sue me for downloading the bottle image from their website. Hehe. I plan to put indivisually packaged water flavor powder stuff inside the flap.
OUTHOUSE~~~
Pee Ewwww~~~
Well… Everybody go potty, right? And, you do use public restrooms when you travel, right? Heehee.
Patterned paper: A Muse;

Put the brads from the back to create this door lock.

Stamp: Lizzie Anne Designs Little People, “Knight”. Punched the eyes out (heh?) with a hole punch.
Punch: Stampin’ Up! Round Tab. Hmmm… is it just me or does it look like a toilet seat? I think it’s just me. Hehe.
Font: Cloister Black (medieval font) from daFont.com. I couldn’t come up with funnier line. I’ll change to “Lady” instead of “Lord” for the girl guests.
Oh yeah… it’s a box for the moist wipe/wet towel. I believe it’s flushable. =)

Hot air balloon excursion! I don’t have any hot air balloon stamps, so I used a digi element instead.
“Playday” by Julie Bullock from Shabby Pickle Designs.

I’m still debating if I want to just make money clips (stiffened the ribbon and wrapped around the hair pin) or make wallets (And add chocolate gold coins).

Digital paper: “Aged Leathers” by Debra Tope Designs from Oscraps.
Faux stitching with Uni-ball Signo white pen;
Money template was downloaded from http://www.kidsmoneyfarm.com/templates.htm
Hmmm…. Would I want to make 20 + of these goodie bags????…
