2011 Calendar Cards

Thank you so much for your kind birthday wishes and downloading my Calendar 2011 template!
Here is how to assemble 8.5 x 11 printable calendar sheet from the template.

It comes in PDF format. You’ll see crop marks around the borders. I printed on a thin copier paper instead of a cardstock.

Using a craft knife and a ruler, cut within the crop marks, leaving the borders around.

Put all the cut calendar sheets together. Clamp it together. Apply a coat of glue on top. Smooth out the glue and clean off the excess with your fingers =) Let it dry.
I bought this Aleene’s Super Thick Tacky Glue to bind mini album spines, but the pages fell apart easily.

So I figured it would be perfect glue for the tear off calendar.
Stamp: Zoe the Gymnast from PaperWorks Co.

You can also use a stapler.

.
And, here is how I made the calendar cards.

I used Top Note Stampin’ Up! Bigz Die for the cards.

Cut two pieces of the same shape. Score a line on top (about an inch down) of one piece.

Add adhesive on the top scored part.

Put two pieces together.

If you are putting any embellishment, make sure not to glue on top of the calendar.

Ta-da~

And here is another card.

Background paper was created with Stampin’ Up! Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

Do you love these flowers? I do!

Blue felt flowers were cut with Die-namics Perfect Petal Trio from My Favorite Things.
Sew the flowers anyway you like one at a time.

Sewed all the flowers with Stampin’ Up! felt flowers/leaves (Retired product, I think).

Glued on the card using a fabric/craft glue. Make sure not to glue on top of the calendar.

I {heart} felt flowers!
$99 Toy Ring in Nesting Boxes

Yup. You are looking right at it. $99 toy ring!
Well… Not really. Kyle had a dental check-up yesterday, and he picked out this ring for his sister. I’ve added the button, and Swarovski crystal with Ranger’s Glossy Accents. Ugh! LOVE this glass/clear glue stuff, but it just takes tooooo~~~ long for it to dry.
The red die cut bag is from My Favorite Things’ August 2009 Kit. And the project is for MFT’s September One Click Challenge: Create the perfect gift box.
Creating the nesting boxes was the hardest part. Mainly because I HAD to measure and calculate the size. I can’t add up the numbers in my head, ugh! Hehe.
Most supplies from MFT. I must say they have the best ribbon and button selections.
Stamps: My Favorite Things “Simply Said”, “Shower Time”, “Princess Birthday”;
Cardstocks: Bazzil Basic;
Eyelets: I think it’s from eyeletoutlet.com.
The boxes go in sideway alternatively (zigzag?) and use the ribbon tab to pull.

Added a crystal to the button. Sprinkles were created with Copic Spica glitter pen (clear). Put Shimmerz paint on the wings.
Put a coat of Sakura clear glossy pen on the stamped images.
Ink: Versafine “Sepia”.
Thank you~~~
Shopaholic & Kids – Shopping Bag Mini Album
Number of View: 628Kyle said Who’s That Girl stamp looks like me. I guess even he thinks I’m a shopaholic. Geez~, thanks~
Created for My Favortie Things Kit Challenge: More is More (I added a lot of photos =)
All supplies from the August 2009 Kit;
Pink cardstock: American Crafts;
Patterned papers: Basic Grey;
Coloring: Copics;

I totally copied the brads on the shopping bag idea from Christina.
Photos were taken at the Hershey Park 3 weeks ago.
I showed this 3×3 shopping bag album to Kyle, and he looked at me like, ‘What Happened in Hershey Stays in Hershy.’
Nah~ It was more like ‘Where are all other fun photos like swimming, riding, etc.???’ look.
Too bad!
Mommy likes to distort the facts and the real life stories must sacrifice for her stamps!
=)
Thanks~
It Followed Him to School One Day
Number of View: 307Created this 3×3 sticky note booklet cover for the My Favorite Things Challenge Week 12: Back to School!
Well, I do not have any school theme stamps from MFT. So, I decided to create school theme related project. It’s from a nursery rhyme, “Mary had a Little Lamb”. The song goes, “It followed her to school one day, school one day, school one day…”
Photo was taken two years ago for Kyle’s first day at his preschool.

Oh CRAP! Somebody is not potty trained!
Well, I don’t think anybody would mind some droppings if they are Swarovski Crystals. Hehe.
I’m in LOVE with Marvy Uchida Puff Pen. If the smell wasn’t too bad, I would’ve kept adding the layers and layers and layers of wool.

Stickers: Jolee’s;
Patterned papers: Luxe Designs;

Stamps: It’s Elemental; Baby First;
Urmmm… I bought this Books a la carte for the 3×3 sticky note cover template. I don’t think it’s a necessary tool since if you know the measurement, you don’t really need this tp draw/cut lines. I bought it cuz it was on sale at Michael’s. Hehe.
Baaa~~ baa~~ Thank Ewe~!!!
