Creativity in progress

I'm still working on it…

Romeo and Juliet

Hehehe.

Originally, I was planning on creating Romeo and Juliet’s balcony scene. But, this looks more like Rapunzel story. Hehe, let’s just say my Juliet has very very long hair.

Stamps: Creatures I, and  Classic Decor from Starving Artistamp’s DoodleFactory Collections

Stained glass window was first painted with Sakura Glaze and Souffle (white) pens, and I put crystal lacquer to make it shinier. It hasn’t dried yet on the photo.

Coloring: Tombow markers

Have a lovely day everybody!

little monsters in the closet

Hehehe.

It’s a 12×12 scrapbook layout featuring my little monsters, Kyle and Bailey (K.B.) and DoodleFactory Creatures. Inspired by the movie, E.T. in the closet. =)

I used the entire roll of foam tape on the base layout. A long lollipop stick and eyelet stickers for the closet hanging rod.

For frames and the wall panel stamps are from Classic Decor (DoodleFactory Collections from Starving Artistamp)
You can find how to create the silhouettes on Nichole Heady’s blog.

I made this silhouettes of my kids with the black découpage paper that my friend, Marie-Pierre sent me. I’ve never seen anybody who can hand cut as well as Marie-Pierre. I’ve bought many detail scissors, but I can’t get to no where near her skill.

Letter stickers.

freaky world

Heeheehee. Keekeekee. Teeheehee.

It’s a window card. Inside of the house is on the outside of the card and the outside scene is on the inside of the card.

Heeheehee.

Had fun making this. Heeheehee.

Heeheehee. Hot sake anyone?

Wine bottle and glass stamp images turned into sake bottles and the shot glasses. My attempt at drawing bamboo leaves on the bottles.

Can’t tell if he freaked out by the solicitor or the mouse, or the electrical cord. Maybe he is just drunk. Heeheehee.

can you eat it

Number of View: 579

Heeheehee. I love creating projects that make me laugh “keekeekee” while I’m working on it. Starving Artistamp’s DoodleFactory Collections make me laugh just looking at the stamps. This month, I’m a guest design team for the Starving Artistamps, and you’ll see a lot more of their little creatures here, heehee.

At first, I was thinking, “can you dig it?” means “can you enjoy it?”. But, I did a little research, and it means, “do you understand it????”. So I crossed out the word, “DIG” and wrote, “EAT”.

I used Mini Album Stand with A Drawer template for the treat wrapper. These are Congo Bars and got the recipe from Bakerella.

Do you see the earring on Cappie?

wild wild west wagon – Kelleigh Ratzlaff Blog Hop

Number of View: 1997

Hello~~~!!! Welcome to my blog. I’m participating Kelleigh’s Blog Hop today using her templates, Mini Mailbox (NEW product this week!) and the Matchbox Sets.

Kelleigh’s templates are very versatile. I had fun putting two different templates together to create this cute stuff =). My son loves vehicles, so I tend to find a way to add wheels to my creations.

One of my new year’s resolutions was to keep the house clean. But it seems like I get the project ideas from my cluttered home. I was looking at my kids’ Play-Doh stuff, and thought the mini Play-Doh lids would make some cool wheels for a vehicle. And the Mailbox Template kinda looked like a western wagon, you know =). I don’t think I should ever clean the house! This mess is my muse! Heehee. If only my hubby could understand the importance of keeping the disorganized house! Heehee.

Using the Big Shot, die cut the Sizzix daisy flowers out.
Puch it out with a circle punch (1 3/4″).

Attach the cut out flowers to the Play-Doh lid (I used Glossy Accents).
Make a whole in the center using an Instant Setter (3/16″).

Put a brad through the hole. Wrap it around one side of a cotton swab. I used the Scotch tape to secure the brad and the cotton swab together. But, I think I’ll use something more strong next time. Maybe use the wire first then wrap it with the Scotch tape.

Score and fold cardstock paper to make a room for the cotton swab. Again, used the Scotch tape to attach the paper to the bottom of the Matchbox. The wheels turn!

“Hey Man~! Do I look like a horsey to you?”

“It’s hard out here for a pimp king!”

“I must deliever this letter to my master’s mistress before these creatures eat me alive.”

“Ackkkkkk~~~~~!!! Freak!”

“Urmmm… You don’t look so normal to me either. What planet are you from!”
