Fireworks Flip Book

Are you excited about July 4th weekend? I’m not. I actually don’t like any major holidays. Because, I’m obligated to spend time with my hubby’s side of the family. =(
Well, at least the sound of fireworks will cheer me up. =)
And my fireworks flip book!

I used fireworks elements from Danielle Young’s Funky Fourth Page Kit!
How did I make it? I wrote an article on Danielle’s blog. =)
Have a Funky Fourth!

Nope. I didn’t create this party table for my daughter. It’s a mock-up using Danielle Young Designs‘ Party Princess printables. However, my 2.8 year old daughter surely enjoyed this set up. It was like her birthday party! She completely wrecked the entire thing! Hehe. She was so happy devouring all the goodies.

Do you like this Play-Doh cupcakes? Yummm… flower frosting!

It’s just cheap felt I bought from a local craft store many many years ago.
Cut felt using Sizzix Bigz Die – Spiral/Garland. Loosely roll, start from the outside. I didn’t use any glue.

Shrunk the cupcake topper to 70%. Layered it over scallop circle cut out.

This is how I made the cupcake topper using lollipop sticks.

Reduce Bottle Wrapper template to 45% to cover the mini Play-Doh.

These Hershey Kisses flower pots/holders were inspired by Pretty Visage’s flowers at Etsy.

I used six 1.5″ paper circles per flower. You can use more for different look.
Make a cone. Do this for all six petals.

Squish the center.
Unfold. Put adhesive on crease, both sides.
Fold it back to make the cone.

Attach three petals together to form the base.

Add three more petals inside the base flower/pod, alternating the cleft.
These flowers were easier and quicker to make than my snow flowers. I kept some baby wipes to clean glue off my fingers.

Bend/distress the edge with fingers.
Reduce Cupcake topper template to 35% for the Kisses’ crown. Cut it out with 3/4″ circle punch.

Party Princess Printables have bottle wrappers template.
Printed on River Linen paper from Red River Paper.

Place cards to wrap juice pouches.

Bottle wrappers for Hershey’s nuggets.

Reduce Bottle Wrapper template to 57.75%. Cut the width to 3″.

Party Princess Printables also have customizable invitation design template.
See how easily you can decorate party table with Party Princess Printables! =)

Gosh~ Is it almost July 4th already!!! I don’t know about you, but it seems like the time flies even faster since I’ve been doing a lot of paper/stamp/digi/hybrid crafting.

Digital scrapbook kit: Funky Fourth Page Kit by Danielle Young Designs. Isn’t this really fun funky kit? I love all the vintage patriotic colors and the fireworks!

Happy July 4th everybody!
Oh yeah… I am SO SORRY about posting PaperWorks Co. Blog Hop candy winner so late. I’ve been really sick. It’s around 90 degree here and I have a cold. Ugh! I didn’t have much energy to do anything other than entertaining the kids as much as I could.
And the winner is… Corinne! I think she won the most blog candies from me. Heehee.

Speaking of the blog candy, my friend Emily is having a birthday blog candy giveaway right now. Ribbons and Pink Cat Studio goodies!
Thank you~~~

Hello everybody~! Hope all you had a wonderful Mother’s Day. My son made me breakfast for me. He told me I could sleep in till 10 am, but he woke me up at 8. Normally, I would tell him, “5 more minutes!!!”, but I couldn’t say that when he was excited to make me his favorite breakfast foods. I can’t wait to show him what I’ve made (for me)! I’m sure he won’t care for the tractor, but he’ll be happy to see the little Reese’s candy sitting on it.

Digital scrapbook kit: Recharged by Danielle Young Designs
It’s the latest kit by danielle and on sale this weekend. Cute huh~! When I saw the gadgets, I had to make the tractor.

Printed with my Bumper Car template, using .5″ chair template for the top chair, and .75″ chair for the bottom, stack (glue) the bottoms together. Reduced the length of the car body by .5″ in Photoshop.

Used a scrap piece of cardboard for the bottom to connect the chair and the engine.

I should’ve glued it together after attaching the rear wheels. I had to un-glue everything, add the wheels, then glue it back.

Lollipop sticks for the wheel connectors. Clear round stickers on the wheels.

Clear liquid glue on the “push” steering wheel.

Ta-da~!

Heeheehee. Sorry to post this so late. Here is the winner for $20 Red River Paper gift certificate. Order #79765 (Diana T.) I’ll email you shortly! Thank you and all who have purchased my templates! THANK YOU~~~

Hmmm… Where did the candy go?
blessed blooms mini album with a box

First of all, I want to thank everybody who loved The Greeting Farm Carnival projects I made and voted for my team! THANK YOU!!! We made to the final round! Yay!!! THANK YOU!

Danielle Young created another beautiful digital kit, Blessed Blooms and it is available exclusively at The Daily Scrapper! I love the flower elements in this kit, I wanted to emphasize it on my project.

I printed many many flower elements (all same size), cut, distressed, and skewered it on a florist wire (used glue to attach) to create the flower. Added a white pom pom and few beads as well.

Album is about 2.5 x 2.5.

I bent the wire and put in the album to create a different look on the album stand.

And I even made a box to slide in on the side. This mini album with a box template will be available on May 1st. I’m opening my shop! Heehee.
Thank you!
