Hello friends!
I’m sorry it’s a long overdue post. I’ve received many gifts and cards from my friends and I’m finally sharing with you.
It’s so sweet of Cris to remember my birthday in December. I’m taking more photos than ever and the camera notebook is so perfect for my photography journey.

You know Emily always makes simple yet stunning cards.

Sheena makes Christmas cards all year round, and I was delighted to receive this cutie.

Love Tanya‘s sparkly card and embellishments are my fav!

This was a complete surprise. Sophia is my a muse studio customer, and so thoughtful of her to shower me with gifts and cards.

Her friend owns an online paper crafting supply store, and she made me cards using Dani stamps. So cute.
THANK YOU! Thank you!!!

Last year and the year before, I created 5×5 Christmas cards to send to families and friends. But, this year to save money on postage, I created 5×7 layout. =)

I used “The Magic of Christmas” digital scrapbook kit by StarLight Designs.

I propped my kids up for the photo shoot. Duh~ me! I should’ve avoided all the yellowness. Next year, I shall use a white background.

My kids had more fun taking photos of our hamsters. It was not easy as they were wigglier than my kids. Next year, I shall not include rodents in the Christmas card.

I got my cards printed from Color Inc Pro Lab. And, I was very impressed with their quality and service. I placed the order on Friday night, and received the package on Monday. I will definitely order from them again.

I’ve been sick since Black Friday with cold and didn’t have whole lot of energy to craft. So, I did simple decoration on the back of the photo cards.
Cardstock: a muse studio twas the night before christmas; polka dot grass
Die: a muse studio tree
Ribbon: a muse studio baker’s twine – cherry/white
Jewel: a muse studio twinkle stickers – cherry dots
Pen: silver pen

Have a wonderful Christmas! I hope to blog and craft more next year. Okie, off to take some cold medicine and sleep.
Happy Holidays!!!

I got to decorate Thanksgiving lunch event for my daughter’s preschool again. My goal was to spend less money and time than last year. It was still an expensive project, but I received more compliments from parents than last year. And even the kids seemed to enjoy it. =)

Cut tree branches…

Filled disposable cups with pebbles. Put the branch in the center and secure it with Scotch tape.
Wrap the cups with burlap fabric.

Attach Small Clothespin and pom poms on the branch using hot glue.

Took the photos of kids with Fujifilm Instax MINI 25 Instant Film Camera and hung them on the Clothespins.

I love how it turned out. I plan to hang Christmas cards on them.

Kids helped with making these flower pens.

I bought tons of silk flowers.

I cut, and hot glued them to pens. Kids wrap the pens with floral tapes.

For pen stands, I glued pen caps in the 3 oz. disposable cups.

I used Stampin’ Up! Bigz XL Baskets & Blooms Sizzix die (Retired, I think) and a muse studio Woodgrain French Roast cardstock. Trimmed it to make them look like boats.

My intention was to make Mayflower ships, but I don’t think anybody recognized it. Hehe.

Happy Thanksgiving!

My Son’s Birthday

My son turned 7 recently. We had his birthday party at House of Bounce, same place as the last year. But this time, we had a joint party with two of our family friends’ daughters.

For the cakes, I asked Jireh Bakery to bake 3 plain cakes and cupcakes with different colors. I put the cupcakes on the cakes. Sprinkled some Jelly Belly candies on them. I got this decorating idea from Williams-Sonoma Kid’s Parties book.
.
Originally, my son wanted to have paper airplane folding party, hehe. But, I didn’t think kids would sit still for a long time. And, I didn’t think we can have a bunch of kids running around in my small house. So, I made the paper airplane folding kits as his birthday treats for his classmates.

My son folded paper airplanes using Origami papers to put in the goodie bags. Printed out the Paper airplane instruction from Martha Stewart.

Wrapped the Origami papers with A Muse Studio’s Baker’s Twine.

Name tags were created with A Muse Studio Cloud Die and Score Board.

Also added pretzels for the airplane theme. =)
.
Hehe. I’m late to announce the winner for Latina Crater stamp blog candy.

It’s Irene!
