Paper Works Co Friends and Family Blog Hop

Hello!!!
I’m participating Paper Works Co. Blog Hop today. =)
When I was working on the Graduation Cap Box template, I thought about using it to make a space ship. Here, I used the small lid template and put the box upside down.

The other day, Sheena sent me these cute stamps! Isn’t she generous or what! And I had to play with them for this blog hop. Thank you, Sheena!
I used Copic markers to color the images.

Stamp: Mikey the Monkey

Stamp: Rocko Tinheart

Put buttons together with Zots dot adhesive to make the legs.

If you came to my blog from Cris’s blog, you have come to the right place. If you just started on this hop, please start at the Paper Works Co. main blog.
There will be prizes given to random comments. No one knows whose blog the prize lies, but make sure you comment to maximize your chances to win.

BTW, I changed my blog theme. I’ve been meaning to change it for a while, but couldn’t find the layout that I liked. I still need to work on my blog header graphic, but I liked Savitri’s blog, I wanted to use the WordPress theme that she is using. =)
Thank you and see you tomorrow!

First of all, I want to thank everybody who loved The Greeting Farm Carnival projects I made and voted for my team! THANK YOU!!! We made to the final round! Yay!!! THANK YOU!

Danielle Young created another beautiful digital kit, Blessed Blooms and it is available exclusively at The Daily Scrapper! I love the flower elements in this kit, I wanted to emphasize it on my project.

I printed many many flower elements (all same size), cut, distressed, and skewered it on a florist wire (used glue to attach) to create the flower. Added a white pom pom and few beads as well.

Album is about 2.5 x 2.5.

I bent the wire and put in the album to create a different look on the album stand.

And I even made a box to slide in on the side. This mini album with a box template will be available on May 1st. I’m opening my shop! Heehee.
Thank you!

Hello!
It is my turn to create for The Greeting Farm Royal Battle – week 4.
Challenge: To create candy packaging using TGF images
Our team name: International Ink
Team members: Stephanie – team leader, Sheena, Tanya, Corinne, and me. Corinne has a huge blog candy giveaway on her blog to celebrate her birthday right now. Happy Birthday, Corinne!!!
MANY MANY THANKS to my team for all the support!

I wanted to create an amusement park. Had about 11 ideas for this project, and only had time to make 4. I think I spent more time shopping for candies then cutting the papers. Over $40 worth of candies! Yikes! You might see more candy boxes from me in the future. Either that, my dentist will be very happy.

Put too much candies in the ferris wheel cups, oh well.

This pinwheel was inspired by Wendy. I used scallop square punch.

Yikes! Too much glitter! Clear glue hasn’t dried yet.

Eeeeeeeek~~~!!! Is this for real?!!!?!!! Do you see my name on this gorgeous product preview?!!! Eeeek~!!!! I collaborated with Danielle Young and created this template. It’s a wine box. I was inspired by cocktail glass elements from Danielle’s here’s to you page kit. She is an amazing designer. Look at how she made my templates and samples look good. I almost cried when I looked at this preview. THANK YOU DANIELLE!

You can put 8 Hershey’s Nuggets inside.
I’ve been having so much fun playing with Kelleigh‘s templates, I wanted to create hybrid templates, too. THANK YOU KELLEIGH for all your support!
Gosh~ I wish I’m more articulate than this. It sucks when I can’t express my gratitude well.
.
.

Here I used digital elements from Danielle’s Here’s To You Page Kit to decorate the box.

Heehee. You can even put chocolate liqueurs inside.
.

Sometimes, I like to think outside the box. And, I decided to make a freight truck with the wine box template. =)

Print one template for the truck head. Score. Cut it into three pieces as shown. Left and Right pieces are 1.25″ wide.

Combining outer two pieces together. Joining at the matching sides in the middle.

Fold the sides.

Glue two trapezoid shapes together to create the L shape.

Cut out the excess. I used an x-acto knife. =)

Tuck it in the box. Oops~ Do you see the cut line on top? I accidentally cut it short and had to glue/tape it back on, heehee.

Added a folded piece of paper to make a chimney. I ended up gluing the gaps (on top) together, so it won’t look too puffy.

Flip unused panels/taps under the truck head.

Cut the sides off. Add adhesive (foam dots).

Attach the wine box on top. Add the wheels. I used the button elements from Here’s To You Kit.

You can purchase the Here’s To You Wine Box Template Set at Oscraps.com. =)
Leave a comment here, and I’ll RANDOMLY pick ONE person and giveaway my template set.
(It’s downloadable PDF and JPG files. No physical products.)
Also, visit Danielle’s blog for a chance to win the ENTIRE Here’s To You collection. (the kit, an alpha set, MY template, and a quick page set)

Thank you!
