The best thing about blogging is that I got to know a lot of cool people. I met Arielle through The Pink Elephant Challenge blog. Last Saturday, she sent me her first digital stamp for me to try, and isn’t she so talented!

Last month, Sheila asked me for a full sheet (8.5×11) calendar where she can add her own art work. So I made this format, but was too lazy to post it. But, I thought Arielle’s Cottage digital stamp would look great on this full sheet Calendar add-on, so I was motivated to add this to Calendar 2011 template. Thanks Sheila and Arielle!

I’ve updated Calendar 2011 template with this Add-On and sent out the download link to all the people who purchased Calendar 2011. If you haven’t received the email from me and would like to get the Add-On, please let me know (littlepotatohouse at gmail dot com). Thanks!

Printed Cottage digital stamp and Calendar on a watercolor paper. I drew over the image and the box with Sakura Glaze clear pen just in case the ink bleeds.

Colored with Tombow Dual-Brush markers. Added Flower Soft – Sage (Ultra Fine).

Added some pearl stickers on the big mushroom.

Happy New Year!!!

My kids were sick after Christmas. Kyle got better in a few days, but Bailey is still feeling weak. Stomach bugs. Yuck! I was hoping to work on my new year goals and spend more time on my crafting/business. But, I spent more time doing laundry and cleaning.

These tag calendars were made with my Calendar 2011 template.

For one tag, I used a ribbon to make the ring by gluing the ends together.

Oops!!! I don’t know why, but I was thinking Mother’s Day is in April and Father’s Day is in May. Duh~! Still cute, huh~? ;)

2011 Calendar Cards

Thank you so much for your kind birthday wishes and downloading my Calendar 2011 template!

Here is how to assemble 8.5 x 11 printable calendar sheet from the template.

It comes in PDF format. You’ll see crop marks around the borders. I printed on a thin copier paper instead of a cardstock.

Using a craft knife and a ruler, cut within the crop marks, leaving the borders around.

Put all the cut calendar sheets together. Clamp it together. Apply a coat of glue on top. Smooth out the glue and clean off the excess with your fingers =) Let it dry.

I bought this Aleene’s Super Thick Tacky Glue to bind mini album spines, but the pages fell apart easily.

So I figured it would be perfect glue for the tear off calendar.

Stamp: Zoe the Gymnast from PaperWorks Co.

You can also use a stapler.

.

And, here is how I made the calendar cards.

I used Top Note Stampin’ Up! Bigz Die for the cards.

Cut two pieces of the same shape. Score a line on top (about an inch down) of one piece.

Add adhesive on the top scored part.

Put two pieces together.

If you are putting any embellishment, make sure not to glue on top of the calendar.

Ta-da~

And here is another card.

Background paper was created with Stampin’ Up! Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

Do you love these flowers? I do!

Blue felt flowers were cut with Die-namics Perfect Petal Trio from My Favorite Things.
Sew the flowers anyway you like one at a time.

Sewed all the flowers with Stampin’ Up! felt flowers/leaves (Retired product, I think).

Glued on the card using a fabric/craft glue. Make sure not to glue on top of the calendar.

I {heart} felt flowers!

I love making calendars and just started making ones for next year. I thought Zoe the Gymnast would be cute sitting on top of this calendar.

I’ve seen my friends making beautiful easel cards and received few. I finally got to make one for myself. It’s so perfect to put the calendar on the front of the card.

Stamp: Zoe the Gymnast from PaperWorks Co.
Coloring: Copic Markers and Uniball white pen
Papers: BeLoved by My Mind’s Eye
Others: Embellishments form past PaperCard Kits.
