<p>When I started stamping, I was laughing at the crafters who were making boxes, and bags. Didn&#8217;t understand why they wasted their time and papers on those. Hehehe. And look at me. I do a lot of 3-d projects. I can&#8217;t help it. When I see beautiful stamps, and craft supplies, I feel the need to make it into houses, boxes, bags&#8230; someting puffy. It&#8217;s all <a href="http://kelleighratzlaff.com/" target="_blank">Kelleigh</a>&#8216;s fault. Hehe. If I didn&#8217;t discover her wonderful templates to play with for my guest design work for the <a href="http://purpleoniondesigns.typepad.com/my_weblog/" target="_blank">Purple Onion Design</a> stamps, I wouldn&#8217;t be writing this post. Heehee.</p>
<p>I had so much digital scrapbook kits, but didn&#8217;t really use them to create hybrid (combining traditional and digital elements) projects. But, I learned a lot from <a href="http://kelleighratzlaff.com/category/tutorial/" target="_blank">Kelleigh&#8217;s tutorials</a> (also on <a href="http://www.thehybridchick.com/where-to-start/" target="_blank">theHybridChick blog</a>) and now I am very comfortable making hybrid stuff. I am a hybrid girl!</p>
<p>And guess what! Last month, Steph from <a href="http://thedailydigi.com/" target="_blank">theDailyDigi</a> asked me to join their hybrid team! And you don&#8217;t say no to the <a href="http://thedailydigi.com/" target="_blank">theDailyDigi</a>! I am very grateful! What an honor!</p>
<p>For $5  at <a href="http://thedailydigi.com/" target="_blank">theDailyDigi</a>, you can get <a href="http://thedailydigi.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&amp;cPath=1&amp;products_id=108&amp;zenid=oqdjooc50fk3vdfp2j0isuf9e5" target="_blank">THE DIGI FILES</a> (Six huge digital collection and one set of layered templates from different designers). It changes every month. <a href="http://thedailydigi.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&amp;cPath=1&amp;products_id=108&amp;zenid=oqdjooc50fk3vdfp2j0isuf9e5" target="_blank">Check it out here</a>! =)</p>
<p>I used <a href="http://mydigitalartstudio.com/" target="_blank">Mari Koegelenberg</a>&#8216;s <a href="http://www.thedigichick.com/shop/product.php?productid=21124" target="_blank">Printable CD Card with Additional Pockets and Wraps</a> to create this hybrid card. All other items are from &#8221;<a href="http://thedailydigi.com/from-the-files-challenge/" target="_blank">From the Files</a>&#8221; (theDailyDigi chose one item from each designer’s contributions). BTW, Mari is one of the featured designer at theDailyDigi this month.</p>

<p>Before I had kids, I never really liked to take photographs because I took bad photos. But thanks to digital camera AND Photoshop, I&#8217;ve gotten better =) I never thought I would get paid to take photos, but I did. Three weeks ago, I had my very first clients. They were celebrating 50th wedding anniversary! I wasn&#8217;t planning on becoming a proPassional photographer, but I&#8217;ve been taking a lot of photos of my son&#8217;s friends and was good about sharing all the photos with their parents. They appreciated it, and I felt obligated (hehe) to take better photos. So, I practiced and practiced and got better (if I do say so myself, heehee.)</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-891" title="2009-06-19_0031" src="http://www.creativityinprogress.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/2009-06-19_0031.jpg" alt="2009-06-19_0031" width="500" height="750" /></p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-892" title="2009-06-19_0073" src="http://www.creativityinprogress.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/2009-06-19_0073.jpg" alt="2009-06-19_0073" width="500" height="333" /></p>
<p>It was a very challenging first  job for an amateur like me. There were mirrors everywhere, and you know how dark inside the restaurants can be! I had to make sure not to take photos of my reflection on the mirror and bounce the flash like the below photo, heehee. Well, it was unintended, but I like how this one came out. I&#8217;ve wanted to photograph of me taking photos, and here I did it, ACCIDENTALLY =)</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-893" title="2009-06-19_0378" src="http://www.creativityinprogress.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/2009-06-19_0378.jpg" alt="2009-06-19_0378" width="500" height="333" /></p>
<p> </p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-894" title="CIP2009-07-08_02" src="http://www.creativityinprogress.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/CIP2009-07-08_02.jpg" alt="CIP2009-07-08_02" width="500" height="535" /></p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a mini album I made for them for letting me use their photos on my blog AND to thank my very first client.<br />
<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-895" title="CIP2009-07-10_05" src="http://www.creativityinprogress.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/CIP2009-07-10_05.jpg" alt="CIP2009-07-10_05" width="500" height="470" /></p>
<p>All supplies from s.e.i Bridgeport and Oasis collections.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-896" title="CIP2009-07-10_13" src="http://www.creativityinprogress.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/CIP2009-07-10_13.jpg" alt="CIP2009-07-10_13" width="500" height="458" /></p>
<p>An envelope in the middle panel for me to put a DVD disk of their photos. I wanted to put more embellishments, but I already couldn&#8217;t close/fold the album.<a href="http://www.creativityinprogress.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/CIP2009-07-10_17.jpg"><br />
