I made over 40 business card size calendars for holiday gifts for teachers and friends using Little Potato Studio’s Calendar 2012 template. Printed them on a muse studio cardstocks, put them in plastic business card cases, wrap them in small a muse studio Cellophanes Bags. Secured the bags with Holiday Washi Tapes. It was the perfect fit.

I love to craft and buy lots of pretty crafting supplies. I love to take photos and craft with them. I am an a muse studio consultant. In the past, I’ve created different websites for each of them, but wanted to combine them into one for better management and also to be more cost effective. I’ve been working on updating the website since last October, and I’m finally sharing with you.

I’ve been selling my hybrid templates on LittlePotatoHouse.com, but I’ve changed the store name and moved the products over to my photography business site, LittlePotatoSTUDIO.com.

For my Valentine’s Day Lucky Pouch, I stamped Sweetheart Background on the cut template paper.

Made Bubblegum button clusters with french roast/white baker’s twine.

I got to decorate Thanksgiving lunch event for my daughter’s preschool again. My goal was to spend less money and time than last year. It was still an expensive project, but I received more compliments from parents than last year. And even the kids seemed to enjoy it. =)

Cut tree branches…

Filled disposable cups with pebbles. Put the branch in the center and secure it with Scotch tape.
Wrap the cups with burlap fabric.

Attach Small Clothespin and pom poms on the branch using hot glue.

Took the photos of kids with Fujifilm Instax MINI 25 Instant Film Camera and hung them on the Clothespins.

I love how it turned out. I plan to hang Christmas cards on them.

Kids helped with making these flower pens.

I bought tons of silk flowers.

I cut, and hot glued them to pens. Kids wrap the pens with floral tapes.

For pen stands, I glued pen caps in the 3 oz. disposable cups.

I used Stampin’ Up! Bigz XL Baskets & Blooms Sizzix die (Retired, I think) and a muse studio Woodgrain French Roast cardstock. Trimmed it to make them look like boats.

My intention was to make Mayflower ships, but I don’t think anybody recognized it. Hehe.

My son turned 7 recently. We had his birthday party at House of Bounce, same place as the last year. But this time, we had a joint party with two of our family friends’ daughters.

For the cakes, I asked Jireh Bakery to bake 3 plain cakes and cupcakes with different colors. I put the cupcakes on the cakes. Sprinkled some Jelly Belly candies on them. I got this decorating idea from Williams-Sonoma Kid’s Parties book.

Originally, my son wanted to have paper airplane folding party, hehe. But, I didn’t think kids would sit still for a long time. And, I didn’t think we can have a bunch of kids running around in my small house. So, I made the paper airplane folding kits as his birthday treats for his classmates.

My son folded paper airplanes using Origami papers to put in the goodie bags. Printed out the Paper airplane instruction from Martha Stewart.

Wrapped the Origami papers with A Muse Studio’s Baker’s Twine.

Name tags were created with A Muse Studio Cloud Die and Score Board.

Also added pretzels for the airplane theme. =)
