Oops!… I Did It Again

I made this card back in June for a dear friend who completely understands my scrapbook/stamp shopping addiction.
Well…
Today is my dear hubby’s birthday and I forgot.
It’s not my first time forgetting his birthday. I did it last year, too. It’s not entirely my fault though. Hehe. He didn’t remind me that it was his birthday! Hehe. And I didn’t even make him a breakfast nor packed him lunch today. I asked him to get some Popeye’s for dinner! What a wife!
Only reason I remembered later today that I forgot his b-day was I happened to check my day planner. I called 4 different local Michael’s stores to see if they have the new pink ATG adhesive runner, and all of the stores had no idea what i was asking for. I was frustrated being on hold for so long on the phone, I went to two different M stores to check it myself after the dinner. They did not have it. All sold out. I found out from a guy who was in charge of inventory that the closest M store that has ATG is about 2 hours from my house. He told me to call him back on Monday, and he’ll put one on hold for me. Nice guy! Anyway, I was so tired from my craft shopping, I decided to get some coffee at Panera Bread around 9pm. I sat down with my coffee and decided to update my day planner, and saw on the calendar. I marked my hubby’s b date down, but I rarely check my day planner so I forgot. Guess I won’t be getting anything for my birthday this year. Well, living with a understanding man like my hubby is a birthday present itself, right! Hehe.
Please, tell me that I’m not the only wife forgetting her husband’s birthday!

hahahaha! your story is so funny! it happens to be my hubby’s bday tomorrow! we don’t exchange gifts though. just eat lots of cake.

Whoops, now you cannot complain about what he gives you for your birthday… I would get really mad if my husband forgot my b-day, so I must say you’re lucky he was so understanding! You have to make up for it though!

No…. You did not. That poor guy!!! You will have to make up or just act like you didn’t forget at all. Just go out and buy an ice cream cake (kids will love you too) and have it ready by the time he gets home and say, Surprise!!!

lol! ahem okay first, let me say the card is, as usual, the cutest! love how you propped the sentiments like that, really clever…
now onto the matter at hand.. lol! well i think u’re not the only one who forgets my friend
i even forget my own birthday lol! yes his bday and even our anniversary 
so now i make it a point to have it in my celphone’s alarm..my computer’s alarm and my yahoo calendar 
if no alarm, there is a chance i will miss it hahaha but we’re lucky for having very understanding husbands

this is so fun and super cute!! love what you did with that stamp! LOL! i am badder than you… i forgot my hubby’s bday this year (July) and didn’t remember until two days later… so yeah, you are a better wife than me!! =) I gave him a massage and he was happy! gotta say that i am pretty lucky! =)

Too funny! I’m not sure my hubby would care if I forgot, although I make a huge fuss over my birthday so he might be a little upset. LOL Your card is adorable!! I love that paper.
