Animal Box Car

I showed this without the wheels to my 5 year old son who is a toy train addict, and he said it looked like a baby crib. Haha.
PaperWorks Co. Ultimate Summer Challenge #4 – Technique is to design your own background paper. I made this for my DT project for the challenge. I thought I had to use PWCO animal stamps to create the background paper. And, I figured a train full of animals would be a fun project to make.

Stamp the image on the cardstock.

Keep stamping!

Color with markers

Create a box with the hand stamped cardstock.

Stamps: Mikey the Monkey, Harriet theĀ Hippo, Timothy the Tiger from PaperWorks Co.

It’s animal train box. I was hoping to share the template with you on this post, but I got lazy as usual. Any advice on how to overcome procrastination?
Thanks for stopping by!

I really, really hate you! You know that? Just kidding! You are just too creative! And I am so in awe of this– the box car with the animal pp is wonderful!! I can see why your DS would think it looks like a baby’s crib without the wheels though

LOVE this! I love how you created your own DP with just one little stamp – I could never think outside the box like that!
Love the project – so cute!

This is just adorable Sunghee. It would make a great little centrepiece for a child’s birthday party – with the bonus that the train cars could be the little loot boxes! Love the fact that you used the animal stamps to create the background papers. Ingenious. You are just so very creative.
As for procrastination – boy, I’m the wrong one to give advice on that topic! I’m still several months behind on making baby quilts!

so so so cute!!!!
But, yeah, it was a big deal doing those baby cards with a newborn in the arms. It was not a very good idea to put the pictures on the card. If it hadn’t been of that, I could have do everything in advance…. Anyway, I succeeded!
I got your mail and it’s funny ’cause I think you make WAY MORE projects than I do.

Looks like the zoo train bogies need to be attached to each other so they could be taken places. Neat idea even for treat boxes for kids parties. You creative genius you!!!
