Hanging Out with Mickey D

Two days into my kids summer vacation, I realized that I was taking photos everyday since their break, Hehe. So, I decided to take photos everyday till they go back to school. I’m on Day 42, and it’s so embarrassing how often I took them to fast food places. I almost don’t want to document their life. I’m afraid they’ll remember me as a lazy mommy who always feed them junk foods. In my defense, they get to exercise at the indoor playground in the restaurants. Hehe.

I used Emily Powers’ Hybrid@Home 5 – 31 Day Calendar Layered .PSD Template to create this album. This template is only available till end of this month at TheDailyDigi.com. It’s a part of July THE DIGI FILES for $5!

You’ll also get this photo texture set and 5 full kits and templates by other designers. Emily Powers is closing her store at the end of July, so get her goodies while it is available. More information on theDailyDigi.com.

Oopsie~ I forgot to hide the unused layer in the Photoshop, and “+ PICTURE CAPTION HERE” layer was printed on my son’s red shirt, LOL. I’m too cheap to reprint so I just left it as it is. It almost looks like a part of shirt, doesn’t it? Hehe. A note to myself. Proofread before print.
Tutorial on how to make this book will be available at TDD on July 27 (TheDailyDigi Playbook). I’ll also post it on my blog sometime in August. =)
Stay cool everybody. My dear boy got burn from walking bare foot at an outdoor pool today. Poor thing, it was bleeding. =(

YAY!! Sunghee is still alive!!!!

First of all, your little beach baggy is just WONDERFULL!! And as I read the comments, I found out I was not the only one who got fooled and thought it was a real fabric bag. Did I already told you what of a genius I think you are?!
And this mini album, oh my, too bad you already sent me one (although, I think I wouldn’t want to exchange it!!!!!). I’ll have to do this one all by myself!! lol I think all your projects look sooooo professional! Mine are always done in imperfection. I’m ok with it because that’s my new philosophy as an ex-extrem-perfectionist. But when I see your work, it makes me wonder why I don’t want to be perfectionist anymore ’cause wow, it makes a real difference! And well, you made me laugh (again and as always!) with the “+ picture caption here”! You sound like a great good living person. Love ya from very far!!
Ok, and one last thing before I let other comment too. I had contractions this night and thought this is it!! I made my husband call his parents at 3 in the morning so that they can come immediately (they need 3 hours to get here) and then I got up and started to make (Christmas) cards, and oops, the contractions were gone!! But my in-laws were already on there way!! lol I’m still trying to think of a way to apologize when they wake up cause yeah, they’re still sleeping!! lol
Anyway, good to see your projects again, Genius-Sunghee!!

What a cool album! Haha about proofreading first – I should do the same! I printed some text on the cover of an album that wasn’t supposed to be there once, but it’s funny how I didn’t even notice it at first on the printed copy.
I didn’t reprint either because I’m lazy!

This looks sooooo crisp and professional looking!! You know… the kind that you have to buy when you hire photographers to take your pictures?! Great job! I wanted to take daily pics too….with my iphone!

Wow! Your photos are stunning! You kids will remember you as a cool mom who was doing fun things with them, documenting them in the process! And if you hadn’t pointed out the boo-boo, I would have thought it was part of his shirt design, LOL!
ouch! Hope his foot is ok today! it sure has been unbearably hot around here. Keeping my fingers crossed for some cool weather next week.

Sunghee — this is a fabulous idea for a project – and never mind the goof – it makes it unique!
Hope your son’s foot is feeling better….

That’s a cool album Sunghee. I love the way you use the simple white with those colorful pictures. Contrast is fantastic!
