This is a toothpick holder.

I didn’t think I would participate this month’s Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients challenge. It was to create kitchen themed projects. Well, I didn’t know what to make. Didn’t think I would need to make anything for my kitchen.

Well, I was in the kitchen, and spotted a kid crafts pirate ship sitting on my messy dining room table. My husband bought it for my son which I paid for with his money. =) He put together the body, but never finished building it.

*sigh*
My house is messy. I stopped cleaning since I got married………. 7 years ago. Hehe. Well, I read somewhere that messy house can stimulate kids’ brains. Hmmm… Maybe I wrote that article. Heehee. My kids are going to be soooooo SMART!

Ha! That’s for telling daddy that mommy bought more stamps!

CIP2009-09-24_072

Normally I’m very neat (yeah right!), but since this challenge is to use distressing, I was “forced” to make things messy. Hehe.
Used Modge Podge to glue the papers to the ship.

Oh, please~! You think I would feel bad for you? Me? I locked my daughter in a chest and tied my son to a gun powder barrel. You think I’ll be sympathetic!
Heehee.
