written by Sunghee

I didn’t even know new X-men movie came out. One of the blogs I subscribed to had the below image. And, I found out it was from the latest X-men movie, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”. Loved the photo, and couldn’t get the image off of my mind, and was inspired to create  the above  card. =)

She is So Gorjuss!

written by Sunghee

Gorjuss2009-06-25_05

Isn’t she?

One of the reasons I love about stamping is that I don’t have to draw. And I can still make something beautiful like this and claim it as my own creation even without the drawing skill. New Gorjuss stamp sets are coming out soon, and can’t wait.

RibbonRide

When I first introduced to the world of making cards using stamps (spring 2008), I didn’t think you need ribbons for embellishment. My thought was, stick with papers for paper projects. No need for fabric. Well, how little did I know. Now, I can’t get enough of ribbons!

Created for A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA “ribbon” challenge.

Colored with Copic markers. For white background, I used Cutter Bee Bugs double piercing tool.

Hero Arts Complementary Color Challenge

CIP2009-06-23_05

Don’t know why I spend more time preserving memories than playing with my kids. They are the cutest things that I ever created, heehee. Seems like I reminisce about how adorable they were than fully enjoy the moments I spend time with them. I would die for them, but would not sacrifice my stamping time? *sigh* I’m not a good mother.

I’ve been very cranky lately. Everything frustrates me, and I have to complain about everything. I used to love making cards with my son. We would stamp together in my crafting room, talking, working on different projects. But, lately I’ve been yelling a lot to my son when he is in my room. He drops my tools, spills my re-inkers, touching my Copics even though I just gave him 48 Stampin’ Up! markers for him to play with, etc. He is still young and I should be more patient with him, but I’m just not myself these days. It must be because of the D&C surgery I recently had. I’ve been so moody. One day happy, another day sad.

My son decided to do some painting when I neglected him yesterday or was it a day before? He painted rain falling on sunflowers. How well it describes my feelings these days. I shall spend more time with him. And, maybe I’ll let him use some Copic markers.
