Card Patterns Sketch #13
Number of View: 1195Okay, I’m about 50 minutes away from the CP Sketch #13 deadline. I wasn’t going to play the CP Sketch this week, because I didn’t care to win Close to my Heart products. I was disappointed with CTMH stamps b/c of this reason. But, boy… after looking through their new catalog, I decided to give them another try. Why can’t I say no to pretty looking stamps?!
So, here is the card I made using the CTMH stamp.
Stamp: CTMH Dream Wishes;
Patterned papers: My Mind’s Eyes; SEI (yellow and pink flowers);
Inks: VersaFine (sentiment); Stampin’ Up!; CTMH;
Ribbon: American Crafts;
Other: Liquid Pearls;
I made my own flower center thingy. What is it called? Stamen? Don’t know. Anywho, I cut some flower wires, and dabbed some liquid pearls on it. Some I put two layers, but I think one layer looks better.
Ballerina with a Turkey?
Number of View: 311Hmmm… Now I look at the photo, the pin/ribbon/jumbo eyelet look like a turkey. Please tell me turkey takes a part in ”Swan Lake”.
Created for Lizzie Ann Designs weekly sketch.

Card size: 4.25 x 4.25;
Stamp: Lizzie Ann Designs (cute, huh~!);
Patterned paper, eyelet: Stampin’ Up!;
Rhinestones: Kaiser Kraft;
Pin: Fancy Pants Design;

Other: Sakura glitter pen;
Caribbean Mood
Number of View: 341Another Unity Stamp anniversary FIRST challenge. F= Flower, I= Insect, R= Ribbon, S= Scallop; T= Turquoise or Teal.
When I first got all my 48 Stampin’ Up! ink pads, Taken with Teal was my least favorite. I thought this color should be banned, haha. It just didn’t look pretty enough. I actually gave it away, but later bought it again, heehee. Now that summer is fast approaching, I think this is very cool color. It’s growing on me (is this the right term?) Anyway, I wanted to create the card with houses in Carribean in mine. Yellow wall, red window.
Unity Anniversary – May KOTM Guest Designer Challenge

Unity Anniversary – One Layer Challenge
Number of View: 328I’m happy to say that my Unity Stamp April Kit of the Month is getting its money’s worth. Here’s another card created for the challenge using the same kit. Thanks!
Gina K. cardstock works well for watercoloring.

Stamp using the Stamp-a-majig. Lighter color first for the shadow technique (Learned it from Stampin’ Up! video on the demonstrator only website.)

Mask the first stamped image. Stamp the next one.

All Stampin’ Up! dye ink except the light green (Memento -> love, love this brand!)

Watercolor using a blender and an aqua pen.

Trace the trees on the back of the card using a light table for dry embossing.

It didn’t work out… =(
Gina K. cardstock was way tooooooo think even with a wax paper on top.

Can you tell my trees have some volume? *sigh* Heehee.
Happy birthday sentiment was embossed with powder/heat tool.
