Number of View: 1527Update (4/21/2009): I won!!! I won the Pink Elephant Challenge #10. Yipee!!!
I created this scrapbook layout for the Pink Elephant Challenge #10 (Color Challenge: Pink, Green and Yellow).
Patterned paper & Chipsticker: BasicGrey;
Stamps: Stampington Zoology 101; CTMH (alphas);
Buttons & pin: Fancy Pants Design;
Inks: Brilliance;
Stickers: Making Memories;
Stampin’ Up! Write Markers; SU! Glassy Glaze Enamel; Rangers fine detail embossing powder (black);
The beast image is from the Stampington Zoology 101 set, the Un-Usual Suspects by Marylinn Kelly.

I stamped the image on a shimmery/pearly cardstock. I was going to use the pink one, but decided to ink it in black, and as soon as I stamped with the Brilliance black pigment ink, I decided to coat it with black embossing powder. So, I quickly unwrapped a new black embossing powder, put it in a container, and sprinkled on my cardstock without first applying the anti-static pad. I got black splashes everywhere. Thank goodness it was for the beast.

I used Stampin’ Up! markers to color the beast. I didn’t realize it was still wet when I was cutting it. My thumb prints smeared everywhere and I thought it was a cool effect. =)
I applied Stampin’ Up! Glassy Glaze Enamel embossing powder over the beast to prevent the markers from smudging. When I was heat setting the SU! glaze, Ranger’s black embossing powder was melting/puddling, too. Another unplanned cool effect, heehee.
